My own venture into massage therapy started as a personal quest for recovery after years in an automotive shop left me with lasting injuries. This journey fueled my passion to support others facing health challenges.

Natasha was born and raised in the north Burnaby area and she has a great appreciation for the community that has to offer. Natasha became interested in massage therapy in 2014 after receiving treatment from a co-worker. As an active and good standing member(RMT) of College of Massage Therapists of BC, she enjoys helping people lead a more relaxed and pain free lifestyle.

Elly graduated with honour from the Registered Massage Therapy program at Vancouver Career College in the summer of 2014. She is an instructor of the college since 2016.

Her interest in massage therapy stems from a love of working with people, a fascination with the human body, and her previous experience as a physiotherapist in Korea. She is passionate about how the body heals innately and how it functions in the presence of diverse stressors. She believes that supporting the body’s ability can restore its strength and balance in areas of injury and pain. She considers the effects of postural dysfunction and will make recommendations for awareness and improvement of posture.

She loves that massage therapy gives her the opportunity to work with a various group of clients and to assist them as they work toward their goals for good health and balanced lifestyles. To meet each client’s individual needs, She blends a diverse set of modalities and techniques including but not limited to: a thorough assessment, Swedish massage, deep tissue massage, trigger point release, myofascial release, joint mobilization, and muscle energy technique.

She is interested in attending more courses on an ongoing basis to be an efficient therapist for her patients. She is planning to continue with Yoga, Pilates and core strength training in the future. In her spare time, she loves to travel, hike, cook, read books and spend time with friends and family. Mario grew up playing basketball, volleyball, played other sports, and weightlifting as well. He had personally experienced multiple sports-related injuries and went to rehab process himself. His curiosity to human anatomy and interest on how the body naturally heals itself, led him to enroll in the massage therapy program at Vancouver Career College.

Mario is very passionate about promoting health, well-being, and living a pain-free lifestyle. With a variety of modalities such as Swedish massage, trigger point release, myofascial techniques, joint mobilization, PNF stretching, and active release techniques, Mario aims to help his patients achieve their goals whether from injuries, preventive maintenance, chronic pain, or returning to optimal function.

Jin entered into Social Work because she desired to understand herself and others better. She is a first generation immigrant, a mother of two children from the cross cultural marriage. She has been working with various groups such as youth, seniors and families, providing counseling in different settings. From the experience working in the public sector, she is also able to provide information and resources as well, due to each client’s need.

She believes that it can empower clients to know their options to deal with current issues. She encourages her clients to remember that accepting the fact that we need help is not weakness, but strength. She is honoured to personally accompany your psychological journey.

She is a BC registered social worker since 2002, and have a bachelor and master’s degree in Social Work specialized in Mental Health. She has been working with anxiety, depression, trauma, low self-esteem, post traumatic stress and relationship challenges.

Myra’s mission is to bring mind and body awareness to her patients. She wants to work hand in hand with her patients to help alleviate any concerns that they may present with. Myra believes that each person’s body works differently; therefore each treatment will be specified to the patient.

Myra has treated an array of conditions at various locations such as the health care facilities and care homes. She enjoys using different techniques ranging from light to deeper pressure.

Jack has always had a passion for athletics and believes self care is a must in todays busy world. Jack’s interest in massage therapy came from his experience with Muay Thai, weight lifting, snowboarding, and sports. He has experienced many strains and injuries from sports that made him want to learn more about self-care and rehabilitation. After experiencing the effect of massage therapy, it led him to pursue his study in massage therapy to help others.

He has participated in various outreach opportunities to broaden his experience such as, Dannia and Normanna Senior home, BCIT, and CrossFit Games. He also strived to help his clients by using a combination of hands on techniques, providing therapeutic exercise to help restore optimal functioning of their body and pain-free movements.

Milros completed the Registered Massage Therapy Program at the Vancouver Career College in Burnaby, BC. Her interest in massage therapy thrives from the ability of the body to heal and correct itself. Having performed her training hours in several different settings, such as sports events, schools, and health care facilities, she brings a variety of experience to the table.

Milros values adapting her treatments to the individualized needs of each patient and believes in providing patient-focused therapeutic massages to aid in rejuvenation and recovery of the body and mind.

Dahlia first found her interest in acupuncture and oriental medicine when she was young. After slipping, she went in for acupuncture and first realized how a tiny filament needle could effectively decrease her ankle pain. Her interest and curiosity further grew over the years, and she decided to pursue her study in Acupuncture and Traditional Chinese Medicine at Beijing University in China. After completing her four years of study and training, she began practicing at China-Japan Friendship Hospital. There she treated a wide range of injuries and assisted in rehabilitating her patients.

Dahlia’s treatment philosophy is to support patients, by educating them on pain prevention and effective pain management in order to achieve and maintain a better and balanced lifestyle.

Prior to becoming a RMT, John studied kinesiology at Simon Fraser University. A long time athlete, John competed at an elite level in a number of sports from track and field, basketball, judo, and kickboxing. He got interested in massage therapy during his time studying at Simon Fraser University and due to injuries acquired from the years of competing, experiencing first-hand the benefits that massage therapy had on his athletic performance and recovery but also the benefits it had on a personal basis as well. This made him want to pursue the field further.

John loves to work with athletes of all levels and different members of the community to help them be pain free and enjoy the activities they wish to pursue. He believes no single modality works best and enjoys creating therapeutic treatment plans that suit each individual.

Zora graduated from the West Coast College of Massage Therapy’s 3000-hour program in New Westminster. She is also currently pursuing study in Kinesiology to offer both passive and active treatments for her patients. Zora is experienced with different types of massage techniques including relaxation massage, deep tissue massage, trigger point release, myofascial release and joint mobilizations that will provide patient-centred treatment and a result-driven treatment.
